Just inherited a 1988 Ram 4wd long box. It looks like the truck sits pretty high for a stock setup.
I am wondering if it has a 3/4 ton leaf spring setup. There are no lift blocks, or any other signs of a lift kit. Pointing me towards the leaf spring thing.
How can I tell the difference?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

welcome to Ram D150s!

you seem to have a 6 leaf spring stack, usually load rated for approx 2500 lb. I think the "standard" leaf pack is 5 leaf stack rated about 1000 lbs less than 6.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't driven it yet, but I'm guessing it will ride like a lawn tractor.....

I forget if they were 2 or 3 leaf in my ramcharger. My old w300 was 5 leaf. Cummins is 6. Those have more curve than a Cummins pack.

Looks like it likely has a lift kit. Pretty sure mine is stock and the leaf springs up front are pretty much flat under the weight of the suv
