I am getting so much grief from my wife about puttig more money into this truck when it does not need it.

LOL, That's not gonna happen. Maybe I can get some of me in the OR after she finds out I did change the muffler. I just ordered a 3" glasspack for it.

I bet you could make that muffler work by adding some flanged pipes
I know I could make my other one fit, my concern is choking it off too much and creating problems. I agree with the others in going form a 3" to a 2 1/4" is too much reduction. I solved my problem by ordering a 3" glasspack.
