That looks so much cleaner without the factory fan and shroud. Nice install.

How was the install, tips/hints for those who may be thinking of doing it? Looks nice by the way. Also, can you post reviews of your impressions, both performance and MPG increases if any?

^^^That's the thread for my install. I used a spare fuse holder that was hot with the key "on". Had to alter the fuse box cover to run the wire out. For the AC I took resistance readings on the two wires, the one not going to ground/chassis controls the compressor/efan.

I don't have any data on MPG changes. I figure I gained a little since that big ass fan is gone.

Will the tool that Autozone loans out work well to remove the clutch fan? I know everyone is saying use an air tool but I don't have one of these at my disposal, so kind of have to work with what I am able to.

Yea i wasnt jacking your thread just trying to get some info. I got it all worked out. got back under the hood to tidy a few things up and added a manual swith. I ended up taking the fuse panel off and doing away with one of the torx screws cut the bottom nipple from the bolt hole off and ran my wire through there. I added more pics of my install. So here they are.

It looks a little dirty lol. only bc i was using the Ft. Carson's auto craft center/garage and while wiring everything up some non mechanic was working beside me on his fuel rail i guess and i heard a loud pop turned around and his FORD was burning down so therefore i got fire extinguisher dust all over my truck. I was so pissed bc the day before that i spent 3 hours cleaning my baby.

On the A/C i didnt even run that only because i dont see the point in running it while the a/c is on. the way i look at it it will kick on when its hot enough if not i have a manual switch to engage it. Not saying your wrong but thats just what i did and several people have done the same.
