Nice to see diesel prices lately

In Nevada prices are becoming normal. Diesel is about $3.60 which is 25 cents less than gas.

I was curious about this myself. The interweb was leading me to think that falling gas prices were a result of weakening demand and supply catching up again. I won’t go past that as not to turn this into a political post

Demand goes up this time of year. It is summer driving season.

It is forecasted to drop even more. Prices near freeways are often higher. Plus the fact it does usually declines in the spring through summer. Truck shipping is declining also contributing.

What the heck is good about $6.27 in California and $5.72 in Florida??..........It's $4.79 in some locations here in Oklahoma. What a lot of people don't realize, is that Diesel is a BY-PRODUCT of Gasoline production. It's the cast off product. Diesel fuel is made using a hydrocarbon mixture that is a byproduct of the distillation (gasoline production) of crude oil. The ONLY reason it sells for what it does, is because of its sheer demand. SUPPLY & DEMAND / UNADULTERATED GREED. They have it and they know you need it!. Reduce the demand and the price goes down.

Eighty-Seven octane is averaging $3.79, and road diesel $5.05 per gallon in Rochester, NY area, depending on which side of the city you are on.

someone needs to realize that what they type doesn't always translate to how they meant it to come across..

But sometimes they meant EXACTLY what they said.

$4.79 unleaded and $4.49 for diesel in Tucson.

Thats strange because Tucson has a pipeline directly from the Gulf production facilities. AZ used to have cheap Gas/Diesel???

California is tied with Joysey for the highest diesel taxes. $.96/gallon + we have ****** roads in California.
