I just tried to order a new 22, 2500 mega cab, and night edition is no longer available for HD trucks? Anyone know anything about this? Should I just hold out a little longer or is it gone?

I had heard on another forum that it was currently only available to order on the Limited's. Not sure if it's absolutely correct, but others were also told this when trying to order recently.

I ordered mine June 28th. I'm hoping it'll be here soon. I got the NE on my 2022 3500 6.7 HO SRW CCLB Laramie.

Well I still see black grills on some editions like the power wagon. It's available on ram website when "building" either a 2021 or 2022 HD. So not completely gone, FWIW.

I got a little insight on this through a dealer from a Chrysler motor group rep.

Night Edition is available in the 2500 Big Horn (LongHorn in Texas) and 2500 Limited. I do not know about 3500 trucks.
NE is not available in the 2500 Laramie package. The electronics language of the Laramie controls the power mirrors in a different way than the BigHorn or Limited and the Night Edition mirrors are not compatible with the Laramie comp language. In the past (several months ago) Laramie's were simply outfitted with a compatible ECM to work the mirrors as well as everything else in the package and they could then meld NE and Laramie together. But due to chip shortage, Mopar is having to stick with the standard Laramie packaging, including standard computer that comes in that truck and not offer Night Edition as an option.

I am about to order a 3500 Limited with the night edition. Laramie wasn't an option.

You all ordering trucks, what kind of percentage off of MSRP are you getting. I was thinking of ordering a new 3500 but from everything I have seen they are giving little to nothing off of MSRP

Looks like Dayton Ohio according to his info.

Mark Dodge would be my first email, I wasted time with others in our part of the country but wouldn't waste my time again. Try to get Aaron or Sandi if you do reach out to them for a quote, and I don't think you'll find anyone else discounting as much as them. They are pretty far away in Louisiana, but I ordered from them 1500 miles away (in upstate NY).

Yes the Dayton area. In 2016 I worked all the dealerships within 50 miles to get 18% off of my truck. With the current market I don't think I could get anywhere close to that.

Yeah I agree, it's not likely given the current circumstances. I would email Mark Dodge your online build and get their quote, and see if anyone around you could get anywhere close to it.

For some reason I didn't see his location before. MAybe I was on my phone earlier.
But to answer the question:
5-10% off MSRP in LA and SE Texas areas. It depends on the dealers's specific allotment....look for the largest volume dealers. I can't speak from first hand experience, but Mark Dodge in LA is the #2 volume dealer of Rams, maybe that only HD trucks, I don't know, but I hear they are giving some percentage off MSRP without haggling. And anything is good these days.

Yeah Dennis Dillion used to be the #1 seller of Ram trucks but even his inventory is down by about 75%. His prices are not nearly as good as they used to be. Good ol' supply & demand. And it seems like many dealers have mostly the higher end trims on the lot. Makes me think that is all they can get their hands on currently. I just probably need to get this truck purchase out of my head & wait a year or two. My current truck is looking & running great so I don't HAVE to make a purchase now, but it's been 5 years & I have got the itch to get a new one.
