What all supporting mods do I need to safely run a nitrous kit on a stock 09 ram 1500 5.7 hemi with 5 speed automatic?

I think 50 or 75 shot dry was the biggest you could run before tuning was required in a stock engine. I think someone was running 150 shot wet. Don’t quote me though as I’m not a nitrous guy and have very limited knowledge on that. If you look on Facebook groups like high performance rams you will see a lot of info about running nitrous in the trucks.

waiting for the day this **** 5 speed goes down the drain ive only got 60k miles but I feel it coming.
Maybe others will chime in but if I'm not mistaken neither the 5 or 6 speed transmissions like WOT while your already rolling, the usual advice is to manually downshift before stomping on the Oh$h!t pedal..
the CC may need to spring for an 8speed swap ...lol

Stick with a wet shot. Up to a 75 shot you'll be okay on the stock tune as long as you run a couple steps colder on the plugs, and keep the tank full of at least 91 octane, if you have 93 or 94 available that's even better.I like Denso 3381 plugs gapped at about 0.030" to 0.032".Anymore then a 100 shot and i'd seriously consider doing a seperate stand alone fuel cell dedicated to the nitrous. I run MS109 in my stand alone. It's the tank at the front of the box.
