I'm looking into getting a set of trail grapplers in a size 285/65r18 on a set of method rims 18x9 +18mm offset and am wondering if they will fit

My thinking is that they will but what concerns me is on the nitto website the 285s measure 11.9" wide and I'm worried they will rub my upper control arm

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Any rubbing with the setup you got? What offset are your wheels?

How much room do you have between your stock tires and control arm, factory rims are +19mm so if your's are +18mm you will be sticking our 1 extra mm, and then you have to account for the added width between the tires, I generally recommend to people running a 12-12.5" wide tire to go with at least a +10-+12 down to a +10 or -12 depending on wheel, tire and setup.

Thanks
Jeremiah
