Hey folks I have a 05 2500 Ram which was driving fine one minute went to start it up and nothing, figured it was the starter nope replaced and same issue so I checked the starter relay not clicking so that means no power to the relay. So I did what every good redneck would do took the cover off the relay and ran a wire from the battery to the left side of relay and just like that it’s running. So I’m thinking It may be a bad ignition switch but for the time being till I can get a new switch the wire will do fine

Try jumping the solenoid with a screw driver. If it turns the engine over you have a bad ground. Mine truck did this and I replaced the battery ground to the block/battery. This fixed my problem.
