No More 2021 orders accepted as of 05/06/2021

I was told by two different dealers (one in TN and one in LA) that effective today, 05/06/2021, RAM will no longer accept new build orders for 2021, only 2022. However, no one knows when the 2022 prices will become available. Anyone else heard this?

Ran into the same thing ordering a boat a few weeks ago... no more 21's... they quoted me a price on the 22 model and said they'd honor that price even if the actual pricing was higher.

Maybe they'll do similar with trucks.

It's not surprising considering the reduced capacity that the assembly lines have been running. If I'm not mistaken truck orders have usually been cut off around the end of June/beginning of July

I was surprised. Last year a dealer gave a build cutoff for 1500s as Sept-Oct and a build cutoff of Nov 14 on 2500s. Hearing rebates may go away and prices will go up. Decided when I pick up my new build 5/24 to keep my 2014. If a chip goes out, not sure when it could get replaced. May need a backup. It's crazy out there.
