I have a 22 1500 limited with eco diesel and was going to upgrade to the full 2500 with the big Cummins but during the ordering process I was informed Ram ran out of Ram boxes and they are no longer available. Anybody else heard of this? Any idea how long this is going to last? I won’t have a Ram with out my beloved Ram box.

I haven’t heard about that no Ramboxes available. I am on my 5th truck with Ramboxes. It’s a must for me. I did have to settle for a 5.7’ bed this time around because I went to a 1500. No 6.5’ for the half ton trucks and I don’t know why. I’m not crazy about only be able to get the ”short” bed.
Maybe just a delay for a period of time. Maybe check another dealer or just wait for a couple of weeks or so. Maybe this dealer didn’t want to be “stuck” with a 2500 and Ramboxes In case you would not buy it.

Find the latest truck available with Ramboxes

Then measure a 2023 Ram 2500 & see if the Ramboxes from the older Ram will fit on a brand new Ram

I just went to the builder at ram.com and was able to select ramboxes on a 23 2500 Laramie. So looks like they are available to me.

Strange part here is that Ram boxes can not be ordered on the Limited. It can on Longhorn, so I ordered a Longhorn. I actually like the brown Longhorn interior better than than the black Limited anyway. But then again I am giving up the ability to get a sport hood with the dark edition limited.

I also wonder why the 2500 doesn't have the heads up display my 1500 has.

Ramboxes are standard on Limiteds, shortbox only of course. Your only option is to delete them. The biggest reason I picked the Ltd Longhorn over the Ltd was that I could get the 18" tires on it. Ltd only has the rougher riding 20's available. But yeah, the Longhorn interior is a plus too.

Me too.
