Just installed a new ignition switch to get the engine to turn over. The starter has power to turn engine over but no engine start. Engine was already timed to 10 degrees before TDC and ran well. Now my timing light picks up nothing and bulb does not flash.

What to check

have you checked to see if you got spark right at the coil? it is possible the computer might be bad. you can try hooking up a test light in place of the coil. it should flash ever time the engine tries firing the computer.
