Hey guys. I am new to having a diesel so I am still learning. I just redid the body of a 1999 3500. It ran great before i pulled it into the garage. It looks great now and runs horrible. It has barely any power. It sounds great and can be driven just not anywhere fast. It looses power so easily and can barely pull itself up a hill. I did have a boost leak but it is now fixed. Even with that fixed it still goes nowhere with the pedal on the floor. The next thing i'm looking at and changing is the fuel filter. Anyone have any ideas on what else the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

I would definitely consider fuel components; filters or pump. I'm not sure about diesels but I would imagine there would be a test port before the lift pump or after it to test fuel pressure. It should be sending between 5 and 10 psi. If it's more than that it's fine. If it's less than that your filters clogged or your lift pump is dying/dead.
