No Sirius XM Radio on 2019 2500 Tradesman

Just picked up my new work truck and was shocked to find it does not have Sirius XM available? It has the Uconnect 3 with 5" screen, and from what I can tell it has the damn antenna on the roof even. Is this correct or am I missing something? I understand its the lowest level radio but geez, I just turned in a 2012 Ford F250 with the base level radio and no screen and it even had Sirius XM....

It appears that if your truck came with vinyl seats and floor then the radio won't have sxm. From what I can find if it came with cloth seats you'd be bumped up to the 8.4" screen and would have sxm. I don't know if a 2018 or 2019 classic (if they come with the 5.0 radio) would work. Another member PCT is going through upgrade options

Just found this thread. 3 weeks ago I bought a new 2020 2500 tradesman crew cab long bed diesel. Only amfm. Also shocked no siriusxm. What did you do? Thanx

That sux...assume you have BT streaming..just get spotify and you can use it anywhere...have sat radio in my 21, but have never used it...not a fan..too much talking and self promoting commercials...good luck on a solution!

If you have Bluetooth and have a SiriusXM account (App) you should be able to stream it. You’d need an account with “All Access” or at least pay for internet streaming.

I love my Sirius XM. I had a base 2017 1500 RCSB that had the SXM as an option. You can upgrade the stereo (stay stock or go aftermarket). Or as others have said, you could stream from the App. My wife and I do both, in her Mazda, she streams, my 2500 has it stock.

If you are a HD, then the antenna is already there, 1500 you have to add one (to my knowledge). BUT you must upgrade the headunit that is SXM compatible, kinda dumb, all but the base model have SXM. i upgraded to 8.4 screen

There are 2 versions of the UAA, one with and with out SXM. I would recommend UAM UAV OR UAX
