My 19 Charger actually has a slot in between the cup holders. On my ram I bought a magnetic one off of amazon that sticks into the CD player that I never use.

I have a Truckers GPS & Navigation unit w/ dash camera
I tried to mount it in the pocket above the radio, it was to low for the camera to work.
Then i bought the Bayou Goat Mount & it was also to low for the camera.
Then i made a copy of the Bayou Goat Mount plate & bought some magnets from Home Depot, now i have this.





now i could put a phone holder up there with the Navigation unit, or i could toss it in the cup holder

I really need to buy another cover for the dash, this cover used to have the flap that hid the open upper glove box

I'm currently using the Cravenspeed mount paired w a 15w wireless fast charging, auto clamping holder... it uses the existing screw holes on the top of your bezel trim.

I am sorry that i did not explain the last post a bit clearer
I was referring to the fitted carpet that fits on top of the dashboard
The one that i currently have was made for those trucks that just had a cubby instead of the upper glove box door.
I cut off the flap & it looks like crap
I need the dashboard carpet that does not have that flap

My phone won't stay in the holder. I have a thin rubber cover over my phone and just the little bit makes it too thick to stay in the holder. I am hoping maybe in the summer when the rubber holder is hot it flex a little and the phone will stay put.

Weird... I have the thick ass Otterbox case and mine fits fine. [emoji848]

Where do you guys keep your cell phone in the truck? There doesn’t seem to be a spot that it fits well. Wish they would have made a cutout on the center console similar to the Tundra and GMC

Mine came with a spot for a couple phones in the console below the climate controls and trailer controls... I use that if I need to charge the phone. Otherwise it stays in my pocket.

Mine did too on the '17 (2500). In the '21 I don't think it would, but my current phone with a thin rubber case does. Any taller though and it wouldn't fit under the display. Even if not there's a thin pocket behind that I could put it in, or I'd just put it in the center console. I'd figure most of the models have some decent options or cupholder as mentioned if not. As for distractions, plug in for Android Auto and I rarely ever look away from the road. The radio is more of a distraction if anything.

LOL, They build that little slot right under the USB so you could use a little one foot connector...and they made the phones longer and they don't fit unless its sideways... Back to the kind of all over the place...
