I have the same problem. It's the noise cancellation system. I took it too the dealer today. It goes away when I roll my window down. Their replacing my amp. I will keep everyone in the loop.

Spoke too soon. Load the truck for first trip. 5 minutes in and it’s back. I’m gonna see if they can turn off the ANC.

Replaced amp still have that noise. Driving me nuts.

Same here drove 6 1/2 hours with it yesterday and have another 6 1/2 Monday.

Mine is primarily coming from the drivers side. Is yours that way too?

No it seems to be coming from the noise cancellation system. If I roll my window down I stops. It's like bass feed back though the entire cab. If tried everything. I replace all my speakers with Kicker audio. So I'm taking them out this weekend to see if that's it..

I’m getting the bass notes through the audio, but it’s coming in stronger on the driver side and more to the rear

How did you go about that?

I’m thinking popping pins out of the harness to the microphones.

I did slightly open the rear window my last highway to verify it was an ANC issue.

FCA STAR wants to run scans and keep the vehicle to diagnose but FCA won’t pay for the loaner since it’s not a drive ability issue.

Drop the headliner and disconnect the 4 noise cancellation pins..if you dont know if that's the problem. When it starts roll down the front windows.

Is this noise cancellation system the same as when your speed increases so does the radio?

No. A simple explanation of noise cancellation takes the ambient background noise within the cab and plays it back through the audio system at 180° out of phase with the original sound.
Theoretically the inverted sound waves should cancel each other out.

When you say disconnect the four noise cancellation pins in the headliner what pins are you talking about?
Thanks

It is ANC that’s why I opened the rear window. As soon as I did it stopped.

I thought the ANC mics were the larger spots front and back. The smaller ones are the phone mics upfront.

How difficult is the headliner drop? Do the visors and overhead pieces have to come off to drop?

That will help me decide to disconnect the mics vs removing the wiring pins from the under seat harness coming out of the amp.
