not getting 4x4 regrets?

You are probably correct. The chances of somebody saying getting a 4X4 was a mistake is remote. I would bet however that the vast majority of people that buy a 4X4 vehicle of any make or model have limited or no use of that feature. It is a status thing for some. As I said in a previous post, those that go into the wilderness and or get regular snow conditions and must venture out will get their monies worth. Most others are just spending needlessly.

I remember once using the 4X4 feature in the Durango I own to drive over the snow piled plowed around the street parking space it was in because I was too lazy to spend 5 minutes to dig around the front :). Once I was in the travel lane turned off 4X4 cause no longer needed.

Where I live I have no need for 4x4, no snow. However I do like using it in mud, trails, and hitting up the mountains in the winter for some snowy action! It's fun!
