2022 3500 SO SRW.

Had to pull a load of a mountain pass today. Half flat free way than the other half was over a 5,000ft pass. Just the Trailer and load went across the scale at 18,568lbs, Getting 10.5mpg wasn't too bad if you ask me. I did hand calculations it came out to 10.4 so the truck is not far off running 35in tires with no correction. Truck did great couldn't even tell I had that much weight until I hit a hill lol.

If you have larger tires and didn't correct for that, that MPG number might not be accurate. But that is close to what I got with my 18 Cummins when pulling in mixed flat/mountain roads.

What speeds were you going and what gears do you have?

Mpg was pretty much dead on. I did Hand calculations as well. The 22' 3500 came with 34in tires, so 35in tires not that far off. Freeway I was doing 70mph and same with the pass until I hit the steep grade part. I have 3.73 gears I wanted 4.10s but could not find one.

I understand that it might not be way off, but it is off. If you compare your indicated speed against a GPS like that built into Google Maps, you'd get an idea of how far off you may be.

At any rate, I'm glad you are happy with the mileage.

Yeah I've already done that Maybe .5 mph off. Close enough where I won't correct it.
