i had a banging noise when i push my clutch in so replaced the clutch, flywheeel, pressure plate, clutch hydraulics, and throughout bearing. when i pulled the tranny out the input shaft had very little play in it but it did wobble a little. after putting i back together it didn’t seem to fix the problem. it happens mostly in the lower gears. i’ll push th clutch pedal in and it sort of jerks and bangs. where should i go from here? only thing i didn’t replace was the pilot bearing and the tranny fluid, i didn’t drain it so i wasn’t even sure how much fluid was there. also can someone tell me what gear oil to use and how much? it’s a 1997 5.2 dakota nv3500 4x4 plz help.

All gears put a side load on input shaft except 4th as it is 1 to 1
and there should be no movement in input

so hat do you think i should do? you think that banging means the tranny needs to be pulled and rebuilt? or are there any other fixes
