I own a 2011 ram 1500, I apparently dont have power to my obd2 and failed emissions. I have a battery operated obd2 scanner and when I plug it in, it works fine. But the testing site says they don't get any response from the OBD2. Every thing online points to it being a fuse, but I ran through my fuses with a multimeter and all came back as working fine. Also everything I tested in the truck works fine as well.

My question is does anyone know what is the fuse number for the obd2 in 2011 ram 1500?
And also does anyone know what else the issue could be

Check and see if Ur cigarette lighter/aux ports are working. If Ur cigarette lighter plug in has no power put a fuse in it then obd should work. That's how it is on most trucks. Check all aux power fuses.

No worries. Check your obd port it's self then. Use a multi meter to check for 12 v on the correct pins and then check grounds in the ohm meter setting.
I attached pic of obd port. It is read by looking at it straight on.

Check pin 16 for 12v power
check pins 4 and 5 for ground if no ground find it and clean it or run a new one.

If no power you could find a 12v source and wire that yourself in an emergency, just make sure it's FUSED!

Hope this helps ya. 15c6b82feb8132570483cec4198b86f4.jpg

I have checked many cars with mine and sometimes you have to wiggle that ***** around to get it to work. Could be a pushed back pin at your port not making good or no contact. Check as brandon shows if you have power there push all the pins back in
