Ok, f'in backup camera random issues. It works for weeks at a time then will have a picture like the rabbit ears need adjusting. But now sometimes no image at all. The intermittent issue makes it tough to diagnose. Seemed to be more often after going through the carwash or heavy rain. Have cleaned the connector at the tailgate and lubed with dielectric grease. The connector is a pain to close and I feel that is the fault. What is the best tool to reseat/remove the wires from the connector to make sure that isn't the issue. The tailgate lock works 100% of the time. There seems to be a lot of wires going into the connector harness for a lock and camera.
Does anyone have the pin schematic?
Any thoughts on how better to diagnose?
