Got the driver side tail light out error message on my 2016 2500 Laramie. Small LED strip was out; enough change in the resistance to throw a code. Turn signal worked but hyper flashed. Choices were:

1. OEM replacement $300 (one)
2. Aftermarket OEM style $179 (one)
3. Amazon special $184 (pair)

I decided to roll the dice and order the ACANII lights from Amazon. Lo and behold look what shows up on my porch. Apparently the same manufacturer for Spyder makes the exact same lights for ACANII at a lower pricing point. Installed the lights easily (had to figure out some tabs). Looks great; works great. More than happy.

Those are the exact lights I got. I bought them from spyder though. A little more costly. lol... wish I would have known that information before.
They have been on my truck almost 2 years now with no problems.
You're going to love those lights brother!

Cableman,

Just checked Amazon and they said it is no longer available. No adapters just plug and play. Will check and let you know it becomes available again.

Smoke model delivered yesterday, only installed 1 in the dark last night. They are bright! Only thing i noticed is i can see the mounting clips on the side, need to see if i can do something about it.
My box didnt come like yours, only a warning label said spyder auto, made in Taiwan.

Now i need a 3rd brake light!

Cableman,

Looks awesome! The dark tail lights look great against the white paint. For your 3rd light, do not waste your money on Recon. I paid waaay to much for mine. You can find the same thing for much less elsewhere.

Anyone have a link or best description for these replacement ACANII lights on Amazon? The ones I keep searching for say it is incompatible with my 2016 1500 with LED tail lights. Thanks

So I have gone through 2 sets of the lights listed above. STILL telling me the right brake light is out. It is not. These particular lights are not supposed to have any resistors installed as some others do. Even people here have reported they plugged right in and on they went. However, after changing the tail light, now I am getting a "key FOB not detected" message also. I have a feeling that the BCM is going but the mechanics scanner is not detecting that. Yes, I have changed the batteries in both FOB's and I have tried both. Both FOB's at different times and I am getting the same error. What's your opinions here?
