I'm looking for a high clearance front bumper with a winch mount. Something a long the lines of the attached picture. I'm having trouble finding much outside of iron cross or ARB.

Any suggestions other than having one made? (Which I fully understand that may be the only option.)

Thanks!

Those are just a few, and all of those are designed to be "high clearance" bumpers. The Winchready and Iron Cross really doesn't give much more, but meh. I think they're bulky anyways.

If you get the brackets from Overkill Fab for the 4th gen bumper conversion, people have been using those to adapt 4th gen winch bumpers onto 2nd gens as well. Bumpers that aren't normally available for 2nd gens like AEV or the Warn modular bumpers can be adapted to our trucks.

Place called bumper superstore has almost every brand for the ram. Good place to start.

Well, then all of them are poorly designed since they're bulky as hell.
Your opinion might differ from others man. IMO for aftermarket Fusion, ARB, and TrailReady are the best you're going to get clearance wise short of building you're own. There's the ADD bumper but no winch and stupid expensive for something an amateur could build for less than a couple hundred bucks.

Yeah I am liking the TrailReady the best so far. The ARB is nice too. Not a fan of fusion's design. Bumper superstore only has the ADD and the rest are kinda goofy. I like the Road Armor though. I just think the 2nd gen market isn't as big.

Thanks for the list though I am going to check them all out!

TrailReady was my original plan with mine, and now between the cost of the MOVE and Fusion I have I could have bought it from the beginning. But, I use my truck for work featuring parts and it's used for trail rides and what not, the Fusion gives me the popular style and what's cool about Fusion is IMO it gives the most clearance out of all the aftermarket bumpers. The face doesn't stick out any further than stock, it doesn't hang down as far as stock in the center section, and the wings offer better approach angle. If you want the winch it sits right in the center at the bottom, doesn't push the bumper out any further. When the MOVE bumper I had got destroyed, I was bouncing back and forth between ARB and Fusion, wound up with Fusion for the clearance gains from it.

Plus they're local to me, less than a half hour drive to their warehouse, so that was an added plus.

I really do like how the fusion is "low profile" in every way. Some of their gallery pictures make them look a lot bulkier than they actually are. Color combinations I think. Maybe I'll give them another shot. A co worker here at the shop ordered one for his 4th gen so I will check his out and hopefully be able to make a decision.

What is retail on one like you got?

That's way less steep than the TrailReady one. Although the TR is powdercoated.

Fusion offers powder coat as well for like 100 or something. Mine I went raw because I'm color matching my truck

Awesome man thanks for all the good information! I'll probably just get black because my truck is forest service green. Haha

Have you looked at Mercenary Offroad ? They are doing some nice looking high clearance bumpers fronts and rears.
