Are you putting anything to block the window from getting hit? Any crossbar or flat stock?

I had been wondering if you were going to block off the 3rd Brake Light, when you built the head the rack.
Down here in California, i had to leave the brake Light viewable.
The welder at FiberwerX here in town

They don't usually make anything but Fiber glass fenders, but i caught them at a slow period

I got some 2.5" Grote stop leds light being installed on each side the lower light bar. ;) Just need to fab up a mount for them.

I ran that wire while doing the electrical when I first started. I believe its law here as well as all the flat deck have them.

Just trying to keep the reasons for cops to pull me over to a minimum.

Not sure why this took me 2 hours to design this morning . But the 3rd brake light mounts will also be my lower light bar mounting point.

Now Time to make the other side and hope I don't **** up drilling the holes. LoL

And just like that I added another week of fab work .

Need to remove all side boxes and disconnect fuel lines and air.
Need to chop my side boxes down 4.5 inches.
Need to fab up mount points for the top track.
Need to modify height of center bar. ( Good thing I only tacked it )
Will need to use that speedstrap I got sine I can't use the locks on the carrier as they are inside the boxes and they actually suck **** anyways.
The best news is I can fit a pack out for my tools and my cooler fits

Making Brackets today. This way I'm not cutting anything on the tire carrier. And I won't have to monkey at round with the jeep brackets.

Way more work but I think it's well worth it

Yup there's a locking mechanism. It sucks **** and I will use my speed strap instead.

Finally done welding the main rack. WoOt wOoT

It's so heavy I have to use my lift to get it up on my truck... LoL

Need longer 2" webbing in black. But works awesome

Once you're done, you'll have to run it across a scale and see how much weight differance there is between the deck and the original box
