Well the Bilstein B8 5165 are ordered along with the EVO Jeep Gladiator JT 6.5" HD Rear Spring Pair.

This is the only picture of the B8s I found on a Ram .

I used to have 5160s but blew out the banjo seal. Look through my thread. I would have kept them but bilstein wouldn’t replace the one because they didn’t make it anymore so wouldn’t honor warranty

Warranty in Canada isnt really a thing, Shipping crap back usually isnt worth the hassle.

I did buy them from a good online store, The same store that refunded me those garbage trakmotive extended travel axles. BUt I was still out 80$ to ship that garbage back... lol.

These are more for testing purposes, Depending if I like them Ill grab the adjustables ones next time around. I seem to have to buy new shock every 5 years. lol.

That’s why I switched to the fox 2.5. Rebuildable and adjustable. The 5160 were great. I bought the 27.5” length version with my eibach springs and they road very well. Very tight and sporty feeling in my opinion. I’m actually upset I didn’t order the fox at 27”. I left them at 26.5” when I ordered them because it was quicker to get them

A plasma cutter is next on my list of tools. If all goes well Ill have one in a few months.

Stupid Jeep needs new tires first. And Im hoping nothing breaks on the trail next week.

Maybee I should tell the wife the trip is cancelled , Instead of wasting money on a Vacation I could buy a new tool.

Started packing, Didn't even bother asking the wife

The tent , sleeping bags and Queen size air mattress ( Don't judge me ) , and spare CV axle fits under the spare.

Now time to go pick what guns I'm bringing

What a Vacation, Had a ******* blast. :headbang:

-Day 1 Mt Rundle This is just a nice spot to stop half way to our destination.

-Day 2 is where the real fun began at Mt Farnham . Base Camp was 5000ft up we made our way to 7500ft to the peak. Slashed 2 tires on the sidewall half way up the trail. Ended up using half a dozen plugs to keep going. Busted a sidestep as well.

-Day 3 a quick stay at Fairmont River started with trying to find some 37x12.5x20 in a small rocky town. We ended up being super lucky to find a set of TOYO Mts that actually Matched my spare in Cranbrook. So we had a small detour that morning and a hefty 3800$ bill...

-Day 4 was the gem of the trip, Mt Farnham base camp was at 3000ft up and we made our way to 8000ft . Grabbed myself a 20L jug of Glacier water for coffee !

-Now for the broken parts, 1 CV axle, 1 Wheel bearing, Airbag sensor light and a check engine light that I have to scan this morning. Added some pretty sweet new dents in the top cab corner as well. Hoping I dont find too much more once I throw her on the lift.

Conclusion, We are now buying an overland off-road pop up trailer and im switching all my off-road activities to the JK. The 1500 will now just be my dedicated hunting rig !

Nice trip. I agree about switching to the JK. Pickups are for hauling stuff to the trail head. Too heavy, tall and wide to be a real good off road rig. That said, the rig looks really good after all the mods you did.

Going to look at this next week ! for 19k it seems like it would be perfect for what welike doing. Ill just need to add airbags to it for a softer ride.
