Hello everyone. I made a post asking about what shocks I need for the offroad package on my 01 5.9l 1500 4x4. I guess i put it in the wrong section because I didnt get any replies. After some searching I found that even though it has a 2 inch lift from the factory, it will still take the stock shock size. So I purchased some Monroe magnum shocks for the front. I niticed that the factory shocks were much larger in diameter. But seding as I needed them pretty badly, I went ahead and installed them. I replaced the original shocks at 130,000 miles. So they were pretty toast. My question is, did I gdt the wrong shocks? Does the offroad package require more heavy duty ones? Or are the monroe magnums good enough. I don't do much offroading unless I have to. Here's a picture or two. Thans for any help guys!

If you’re not off-roading you should be fine. Looks like the stock has a larger oil capacity but otherwise length is the same and that’s the biggest thing that counts
