Nope. Drains really quickly. HD's sit up so far anyway, its too easy to just slide under and do your thing.

With a 3/8 ratchet, a few turns, you can’t get out of the way fast enough. Lots of people use the Fumoto valves to get away from the ratchet. You can have it drained before you could rig up a pump to get it out and the only access I know of is the dipstick tube and it’s small. It would take a pretty long time to pump 3 gallons through a 1/4 or 3/16 inch tube.

No need to spend $25 on a Fumoto valve. Just use the 3/8 inch ratchet like people have been doing forever with no problems.
And why would you want something hanging out from the bottom of your oil pan? If you do ANY off-roading that's just asking for trouble.
There's a reason the oil drain plug sits flush with the oil pan.

Yeah the hanging down part is why I don’t have one. As thin as the oil pan is on these engines, a rabbit or armadillo might knock it off.
