Does mopar sell the red push/slide tab that is on the oil sending unit harness connector? Mine is missing. Is it a separate part number for the red piece or do I have to buy whole the harness connector?

You’d have to buy a new connector. Dealer doesn’t sell the lock tab by itself. May be able to find it aftermarket. Honestly if the connector still clicks on and stays there I wouldn’t worry about it to much.

I was surprised when I went to remove mine and I didn`t see the red locking tab. Either the PO removed it or it was missing from the start. Mine came apart so easy I was kinda wanting to put the red tab back. I wonder if the red tab out of a aftermarket connector will interchange with the OE. I didn`t want to cut the plug just for that.

As long as it’s the same style connector the red lock tab should work.
