3500 = 4x4

3500/4 = 4x

875 = 4x

218.75 = x

OIL = 218.75

???

Profit???

:laughing1:

If he had gotten a two wheel drive..

4x2=3500

x=437.50

Good thing he got the 4x4!

Im guessing its for your 2001??

If so I would recommend NOT using synthetic. The seals in those engines dont like synthetic causing them to leak badly. Ive always used Rotella or valvoline blue in the other trucks.

Wtf are you talking about? Almost everyone runs synthetic on this site and no one complains about leaking or burning oil.

Well I'm glad its been working for them. I was just giving my opinion from experience.

I run synthetic in my 3rd gen I have now but past 2nd gens didn't like it.

Ok, I misread your post, I thought it said 2011. This being the 4th Gen forum I was assuming that's what you were saying. It is weird the 2nd Gens didn't like it, I ran synthetic in my 90's vehicles without problem.

Yeah I just realized that this was posted in the 5.9 common rail section so the original poster must not be referring to their 2001 truck.

Who knows maybe I just had bad luck with my 2nd gens haha
