I decided to call rancho directly and inquire about what shock I would need to add 2 more inches to the front of my truck. As soon as I told him I already had a 6" suspension lift he stopped me and informed me that the shocks are for stock vehicles and only designed to level the front end on a stock suspension. And that the quick lift struts probably wouldn't even fit my truck. SOOO...here is my question...since I already have a 6" suspension lift on the truck are the bilsteins going to work for giving me an additional 2" of lift? Or what about FOX struts? Or anything else for that matter?

Thanks,
Kelley

Bilsteins are what most people put on to do this

Ranchos bilstein fox icon radflo whatever they can all lift an extra 2"

This!!!!!! They will fit any lift as the lifts use a spacer bolted to the top of your strut. All of the ones listed above mount using the stock stuff/location so the lift won't matter.

Rancho "has" to tell you what they did for liability reason (Dagum lawyers) but they will work.

Ok....so then let me ask this,
1)which is the best bang for the buck?

2) if you had to rate each of them from 1 to 5 with were money is no object, hhow would you rate them? Based on durability and ride qaulity. My truck is for the most part, a pavement princess with the occasional jaunt thru a field and I want to maintain a comfortable ride qaulity. And safe handling on the road of course

I've only just gotten my toes wet on the whole lifted truck scene and only heard of the bilsteins, ranchos and fox units. Is there cheaper or better stuff out there?

Thanks everyone btw. You guys are proving very helpful!
