I have a '97 ram 1500 with a line-x spray in bed liner, color matched, over the rails. Done in '00 and has faded . Also can see where it wasn't sprayed thick enough and can see rust on the bed and rails in places.
Will one if the diy liner kits stick to this? What prep with needs to be done besides clean and dry?
Thanks for any advise.

I thought line-x had a lifetime warranty?

I know they do now at least.

I'd just take it to a Line-X shop for ***** and giggles and see what they say, you never know.

In order to re surface it you must sand it all back down to get to properly adhere. I do allot of these threw my shop

If you were closer I would do it for you at a hell of a price.
I also use a UV protectant that will not fade.

They do have s lifetime warranty. Mine was done in 2000. Up till 2002fri the individual dealer was responsible for taking care of warranty. My dealer is gone out pf business. So no warranty. They now have a nationwide warranty since 2002the but I'm not covered. I'm SOL.
So to redo it I have to sand the old one off, down to the metal?
