been working on the house havent had any time to even get out and scout around. when I picked up my permits this year they said they may be opening up gilgo this year!

i pulled alittle air out of the tires.. dropped them from 44 to 30. and shut off the traction control. Did really good. I mean you can feel it spin the tire sometimes but what truck wont in the sand. Never once felt like it was going to get stuck

airing down is a huge plus when hitting the beaches. ive seen a lot of people get stuck then air down in the middle of the beach

Plenty of sand dune pics of both my trucks. But the only beach they have been to is on the Lake. Totally different sand than Ocean Beaches. We used to hit Oceano (Pismo) all the way back to the late '70s.

Sand is fun. MOST of the time. :insane:

Closed it yesterday? I was there on Sunday and it was open

Yes.. Parks department stated "closed due to high tides and beach conditions", but their website is not updated.
