So when I bought my 13' Express I liked the clean lines of the truck without the running boards as they seemed to stick out too far and looked out of place.

Looks aside, I am tired of having my wife complain each time she gets into the truck about how high it sits off the ground.

My question to you guys and gals out there....what aftermarket running boards do you suggest? I want a set that are not square like the OEM's and are not so big that it looks like I have diving boards on the side of my truck. Pics would be helpful too.

Thanks in advance

Color matched Nfabs are hardly noticeable

Thanks! Do you know where I am able to purchase?

I think you can order them through summit color matched. I'd assume you have to give them your paint code

I have Amp Research Power Boards. They cannot be seen, until you open the door. Then they drop down.

I think the 2013+ wheel-to-wheel side steps look better than any other steps on the market... the way they fit perfectly with the body lines and exact dimensions, they actually look like they're designed for our trucks. Surprise surprise.

I am installing the Mopar running boards tomorrow. They are black, the trucks black. Plus the plastic on the step matches the plastic on the 2014 rear bumper.

These are my gloss black N-Fabs . . . I luv the look of them, but one drawback, and one warning . . . The steps get slick when they fill with slush in the winter, and if you have factory flares, you will have to modify the mounting plate holes to the bars don't rub the flares . . . I have seen a number of color matched ones, and the post above is correct, they darn near disappear

Do you want running boards or are you okay with side steps?

As others have mentioned, the Mopar side steps are not square.

Also, they come in chrome or black, so you have two color options with those.

Why do they have to cost $1,100+ :(

I have them too.

They cost 1,100 because they are the shizzal!
I really like the lights too, plus they are an actual step. They drop down as they come out. I have a bad disc and hip and man before these with nothing I'd make a few stops around town and I was barely walking.

All 4' 9" 86 years old of grandma hops right into the truck too. Before if we were going some where with her we took the Maxima.

And hey pics not needed, you seriously can't tell they are there. The install is pretty crazy though. I took one look at the instructions and told the dealer, heck why don't you guys do that for me.

I also have these, and they are well worth the extra money. Im the same way as you wanted to keep the clean look but i also did not want to ruin my leather from sliding in and out. The Amps solved both issues.

Install isnt bad, i had them in in 2 hours. but i wrench a lot.
