Good afternoon everyone. I'm looking at upgrading the headlights on big booty Judy and I'm stuck between chrome and black retrofit HID's. Here's a link to the lights I'm going to buy, what do you guys think would look best on my truck?

I'm not a huge fan of the look of projectors in these headlights, but I would much rather have the light output of a correctly retrofitted HID.

I might smoke the clearance lights someday, not 100% sure.

No linky shown.

I like my black projectors. Had them on the last 3 Ram truck's I've owned but that's just my preference:

I remember once I got the retrofitted projector headlights in the 2007 (top pic) and installed the HIDs it was a super improvement in light output.

I've heard nothing but good things, I'm looking forward to getting them.

Right now I'm leaning towards the black since they seem to replace the corner lights as well and I think it will all tie in together nicely with smoked clearance lights.

TRS is a great group of people. Ive never been left hanging by them. I broke a part I bought from them, yes I said that I broke it. The next day aired me a new one without questions or return. They will always have my business.

I like chrome but i also highly recommend 2pc housings. 1pc are a ***** and a half to aim nicely

What part of the aiming is difficult with the one piece headlight? What issues did you run into?

They only have 1 adjustment screw on the back. It does both the up and the down so it usually requires shimming the housing

Gotcha, I kind of figured that might be an issue. Hopefully some washers and a little patience will help me get them aimed properly. Thanks!
