This is why I make useless threads lol...Okay, that makes sense then. I could prob do the same but from inserting tabs into slots and beginning to turn and 9/3 is all at the first tiny tiny bit of turn. I think it would work but not too comforting.
So your tab must be the same place mine is then Adam? I wonder if it changed in a certain model year.
I did trim a tad off the big tab and now I have the option to insert any slot into any hole. This way I found the closest way to vertical. Then the tab the little stop I shave a tad to allow a touch more if needed. I will say mine were not 100% vertical, prob with 10% and there was no dark spots. Of course my next problem that I aimed all the way down and now I can't get them to come back up. So my test drive down the road yielded solid light everywhere but only about 22ft in front of me.
