Well,
I ordered my Mufflex 14, JBA Headers (Shortys, didnt want to mess with cats just yet) and my Vararam intake today. Along with my previously purchased 5" tips from Moes. I am really hoping to have it all by the weekend so I can install it all this Sunday.
Next mods will be a tuner and spray in bed liner, but they will not happen until after xmas at this point.

Sounds like you're well on your way!! I'm interested to hear how the headers perform with your 8 speed tranny! Keep us posted!

You plan on doing high flow cats?

Its usually recommended to do the cats with the headers if you plan on doing them at all. The reason I ask is that in order to get the most out of the headers you need a custom tune, and its a good idea to install all your planned mods before you get a custom tune so you dont end up having to pay for an all new custom tune once you add more parts down the road.

With the vararam and shorties I would think its going to lean out quit a bit and I wouldnt recommend running on it that long without a custom tune.

Well that's not what I want to hear...
I am in the process of installing everything now.. guess I will start looking for a custom tune next....
Question though, I have everything on, nothing is tight yet though, except for two bolts. I dropped one of the header bolts for the driver side and unable to find it, I also could not get the one directly behind the steering shaft in, I have tried taping it in place and threading it in when i get the header in position but i keep dropping it before i can get the threads started.
Unfortunately I had to stop for today to go some where but i will finish it up tomorrow. Luckily I had a spare matching bolt.
