For anyone who ordered off the website.... what percent of msrp did you get? Is the price negotiable? How long did it take to get your truck?
Thank you.

Build the truck you want on the Dodge Ram build page. Towards the bottom of the page is a link to either submit your order to your local dealer for a quote or you can see similar trucks in dealer stock for one that may work for you. I ordered my truck end of December and it was delivered end of February so it was a two month wait but time are different now and I ordered a 2500. Good luck.

Lots of information on this forum about ordering, search around and it will help you be an informed consumer and maybe save you money. I say maybe because it depends on if your willing to travel and how responsive your dealers are. I tried what PapaRed suggested, however, all I got was disappointment from Tulsa dealers. That’s when I came here, spent some time, and found Koons mentioned. I asked for Craig and saved enough to justify flying to Virginia, about 6k cheaper than anything local (I’m talking time and travel cost).

Yes, you can negotiate with who ever you order from but there is one wild card. Rebates are at the time of purchase not order. This means there may be more or less when your truck arrives. If you have patience to order your in the driver seat, no pun intended, send what exactly what you want to order to all the dealers you can handle communicating with. Tell them best price wins your business. It’s also a weird time and trucks are outselling cars so be patient may take extra work to get a good to you deal. Good to you deal means your happy with what you paid for the truck.

I would of paid a little more, maybe 1k, to buy local but between absolutely inept “internet managers” and horrible pricing I’ll worry about finding my service dealer when I get delivery.

This is not true where I live, according to my dealership. I would have had the choice to either take the rebates in place at the time the order is placed OR the rebates in place at the time of purchase. Not sure it that's dependent on state laws, or if the dealer mandates that rule. But my local dealership informed me that I would have that option if I decided to order a truck. In the end I bought off the lot.

Thanks that is interesting. Either way you win in that situation!

I was given the rebates at time of order. If the rebates were better at time of delivery they would give me that instead. I'm very happy with my purchase.

One should be able to order a 2021 model in October so waiting a few months would get you a newer model or a better deal on a 2020 on a dealer's lot.

I just ordered my 2020 Ram Rebel a couple of weeks ago, still waiting for delivery. Was told 8-10 weeks. I went through the Costco car buying program, saved $5500 off MSRP, plus incentives and no pressure sales man.
