2001 2500 5.9 Cummins w/Auto Trans. Doesn't shift into overdrive. Doesn't even act like it wants too. Everything is smooth.....any ideas? Thank you!

My guess is the 4th gear snap ring and wave washer is broken. With a scan tool we need to monitor the TCC/OD Solenoid to make sure the PCM is commanding the solenoid to engage 4th gear.
If you have some tools and a little bit of mechanical ability then you can remove the driveshaft and remove the overdrive unit from the back of the trans and inspect the snap rings.
