Just paid the truck off all the sudden everything's happening to it. I go visit my mom quite often. I own the property she lives on and I live in Seattle. She lives in Moses lake. This last time visiting her we got almost to the exit and I noticed the truck was ticking and then the temperature gauge didn't even say it was overheating but it overheated pretty bad so we discovered the water pump needed to be replaced and then of course the thermostat. But then it's still overheated and I was told it was the oil pressure sensor so we did change that. But I'm wondering because it's still running hot. I'll put pictures on here because it normally doesn't even go to the halfway point before this. When you put the oil pressure sensor on. There's a little clip that goes over top of it. The clip's on there but the little red tab that holds that clip or whatever it's missing. Is that going to cause any problems? And we still have to figure out what's going on because I know it's running hotter than normal9345.jpg

Also the heater is not working at first and then it clicks on but it takes it forever to click on and we have thought it was a stuck thermostat. We've changed the the thermostat twice now. Don't know what it could be.

You might want to try doing a coolant flush. Make sure to flush the heater core as well because they are known to clog up. If it continues to overheat then you're probably looking at a bad head gasket.

If 206° is as hot as it gets, that's normal. My '15 had a <1 year-old Motorad thermostat that decided to open way later than the 192° rating. I saw temps up into the 230's. No bueno.

I had a bad fan clutch and put in a Calorstat 192° thermostat, and all is good, 208° is about the hottest I've seen so far, and that is rare.

I keep the temp display up on my evic, and I try to watch my temps close.

Everything is normal if those posted are the temps except the heater issue, two most obvious suspects with that are blend doors or casting sand issues. 2014 is a little early for casting sand, but I'd run some RMI25 in there to see if that is the issue, it would put sand in overflow if it is. As for blend doors, cant help you there.
