I was pulling into a parking lot this morning, my lights dimmed a little and the engine stalled and the check engine light was on.

I pulled the code and it's P0335 for Crankshaft Position Sensor. I tried clearing out the code but it's a permanent code that it will not allow me to delete. Is this typically a sensor or something more serious?

The truck started right back up, the light is off, and it drives fine. The code is still stored in the system. Thanks for the help!

Generally it's the sensor. If the crankshaft was truly out of position, you'd know it.
