Ok guys. So I just wanna add that I did my plenum job here a few weekends ago and been kinda keeping my eye on my oil for consumption signs. It’s still using oil. I will add that my cable cover is leaking. But I added some oil it was either Wednesday or Thursday. Checked it earlier and imma half quart low. I would see a valve cover leaking that much within that time span. I will say that my pcv is aftermarket and Not Mopar. I have read a few places that not to get them anywhere else but dealer. Is this true and why? All opinions will greatly appreciated

A basic compression test will tell you whether or not your chambers are nice and sealed or if you have either a ring seal issue or valve stem seal issue.

If you don't get very good results, adding an ounce or two of oil then repeating the test will confirm if it's a ring issue because the oil will perfect the seal between the rings and cylinder walls. If compression rises by more than 10-15psi, bad rings. If it doesn't change much I'd be looking at valve seals
