And it might be it has the problem and it's not you're truck. Best of luck. I bet the new one will be a upgraded one also.

May be, I guess we’ll see.

And to just think, this was one of the reasons why I considered a few times of getting rid of it.

Glad to hear they're willing to work with you on getting a replacement to you. Hopefully you won't see any more codes with your new one.

That's kind of like asking someone to prove they didn't do something LOL. I have never read anything that said not to change settings while driving. The only warning I remember reading just said to keep your foot off the gas pedal and don't use cruise control while changing settings. I no longer have the manual for my PC, but I just pulled this from their website...

"We recommend changing the modes of the PC unit ( Eco, City, Sport, or Sport+) while your foot is off the accelerator or while cruise control is disengaged. By doing this, it will prevent any CEL or EPC lights coming on and putting your vehicle into limp mode. Each of our modes has different signal strengths so we say to do this as a preventative measure."

I don’t know if they’re going to get me a new one or not but I do know that once they receive my old one, they’re going to do a diagnostic test on it to see what’s wrong with it and I guess they’ll either fix the one I have or they’ll send me a brand new unit, we will see.
Well where did you find that at? I can’t remember, but I don’t think they actually sent me an instruction booklet because the inside of the box that my Pedal Commander came in, is my instruction booklet. Underneath the top flap is where it tells me how to hook it up, and down below all the packing material on the bottom of the box is where it just explains the different modes and defines all the buttons. It didn’t say nothing about what you should be doing on it when you change to a new mode.

All I know about the part about making sure you’re idling and in park with foot off the gas pedal is what one of the representatives told me while back when I was having check engine light problems from trying to use the eco-mode and that was how he recommended to change it but other than that, I don’t see on this box at all where it says you can change the setting while driving.

I found it on the FAQ page, under the question "can I shift through the modes while I'm driving/accelerating?" (it's the last question on the page). Here's the link if you're interested...

Hmm, I’ll be darn. I had no idea. Well, maybe my new one or my fixed old one will allow me to do that.
