Looking for examples of those tire sizes with a 3.5 lift. Worried the 275/65 might look small but may be narrow enough to run with factory rims and not rub. 285/65 may be too wide. I have a 22 Laramie 1500 and I don’t want to buy new rims, I like my factory rims. The narrowest 35s are 11.5, I think that may be too wide to run on stock wheels. These are my rims. I’d rather not run spacers either. Any advice would be appreciated.

285’s should not be too wide at all. 285’s come stock on the 22” wheels.

I didn’t know that. I may go with 285. The guy at discount says I could probably fit a 295/65 without rubbing but I doubt it.

I sure even a 295 would be fine. I bet you could even fit a 305.

Idk if I’m formatting this properly but I found this one out in the wild and I took a pic of it, cause I loved the look.

Unfortunately idk what the lift is or the tire size. If any eagle eyes on here know I’d love the specs. Looks like we all have the same truck in SA

Damn that’s a beautiful truck. I’ve been all over the place with what to do about my truck. I bought a rough country 3.5 kit then everyone told me not to use it. Now I’m thinking about readylift 3.5 but the shop tells me I can’t use my stock rims. Those rims look stock though. I’m so confused lol

Why wouldn’t you be able to use your stock rims? I have the same ones as you, and as that pic. I’ve found plenty tire sizes that would work.

I know. Starting to think the shop was just trying to get me to buy their stuff. Messed up. I think I’m going to go with a level after all. Still not sure which one

Let me know how it goes, post pics. I was just going to go to Espino for my level and discount for the tires.

You can fit 35s with a 200 dollar leveling kit and you'll have zero to EXTREMELY minimal rub. I'm running 37x12.5s on my truck and the rub wasn't really bad until full lock before my lift was installed (the next day)

Not the best angle of the new truck (only pic I have with me as I just picked this 2020 Ecodiesel up yesterday)… but it’s got a Falcon 2.25” level front/1” rear spacer - 20” wheels - 0 offset - on 285/65's if this helps.

They fill out nicely... buuuut a 295 would perhaps be a touch cooler looking and it would for sure fit.

Took the running boards off as well... anyone in the market? Westin HDX boards.

I don't get it. Why do you guys not just buy a 2500 with the off road package or a Power Wagon if you are actually using them off road and not just going for looks.

You get the height, 35" tires on factory rims with no lifts or rubs, bigger brakes, diffs etc. I just don't understand buying a 1500 and spending thousands to make it look like a 2500.

Only pic I really have so far since I just bought it about a month ago. It's running 285/65/R20's with just a front level that I can see laying underneath. They do not rub and fill up the wheel well nicely. I do need to calibrate the speedo, though.
