plastic piece on front bumper

how do you get it back on? when i hit the deer last OCT it was pushed in a bit. i got it off yesterday but its hard to get back in. part of the bumper looks like its higher up. i know theres a slight dent and im thinking thats why its up a tad higher. TIA

there are pins on the very top that need to line up with the holes on the bumper, the bottom should have some tabs that should snap over the bottom chrom lip, these are hard to get in and take a good amount of force to get them to line up, at least mine did

Take it out and replace it with a bumper grille.
