You can likely get a beautiful 2018 new for 38-40K with the discounts they are offering. My ecodiesel laramie sticker was 54 I paid 44 before tax. I love the truck, and I got the max care extended warranty so it'll be protected for 8 years. I'm sure by then Ill have another one, but I would stay away from used unless you know the truck.

I still have some time until November. I wonder what kind of deals they will have then.

Almost time gentlemen. Real question is, will I be able to get a Limited @ 50k OTD?

Go drive them both and your decision will become clear.

As a fellow lurker who also has a charger scat pack ( and used to have a ram 1500) if you can wait until the end of the year, or at least the end of the month, that would be best.

Also, look at dealers with alot of inventory..so you can get best value.

So, negotiated a deal today on a loaded Laramie. 63.2k MSRP, and was able to get a discount to $50.7k. This was a truck not in the dealer's lot, it was from another dealer that they managed a trade.

Got home and googled the VIN. Turns out they didn't notice that the truck had a lift kit + wheels and tires (+$7k). Now we found a Limited within the same price range, but with less options 190 miles away. They confirm they can do the trade. The limited has 1.5k less rebates, so I need to accommodate that.

I am starting to feel like I am making to many concessions on color and options and am almost dropping the deal.

What do you guys think?

Went on my first trip today, only 180 miles.. really love this truck. I also loved my 2013 RAM Sport, but this 2019 Limited is just in another level.
I had some premium sounds in other cars. I guess the best so far had been a the Band & Olufsen in my Audi S4, but this 19 speaker system in the Limited is ******* amazing and takes the number 1 spot.
Doing 80 mph for the most part, and it did 15 mpg.

Congratulations! I just joined, but I would like to add that I was in your position recently (but Gen4 vs Gen5 rebel). I was pretty much sold on a used Gen4 rebel with like 20k miles on it...until the wife and I stopped to look at the Gen5 rebels at a local dealership. Once I test drove it around the block there was no going back.

Congrats on the new ride!
I started out wanting Black....because I always buy black. That's changed as I'm definitely getting the Delmonico Red

Nice!

Just wait until your first $100 fill up. That was a shocker for me.

I assume the Limited has the 33 gal tank? I have the Laramie.

I didn't buy my truck for mpg but paying $100 for a fill up was a milestone.

I do a lot of long biz trips. On a flat interstate I can get 23/24 if I set the cruise on 70. Hemi w/3.92. But 70 seems so slow in my land yacht. Maybe I should trade it for a Prius? [emoji482]
