I have a 2014 3500 with 5 switches to run accessories. I guess the truck came with wires but they are with the last 2 owners. How do I find these wires or plugs? Is there a generic plug that works?

Are you referring to the optional upfitter switches at the bottom center of the dash below the radio and such?

There are some videos and information here-

https://www.ramtrucks.com/ram-commercial/body-builders-guide/videos.html

There is a harness that is included with the truck, if you don’t have it, they are available online or eBay and Amazon. Just search for “Ram upfitter harness”.

There is also a VSIM harness if your truck is equipped with that option, it’s typically used for wig-wag lighting and such.

As you pointed out, the upfitter wire kit does/should come with the installed Aux Switch option. This wire kit that did not pass to you comes with several wires for upfitter/PTO options. If all you need is the 12v wire, you may not want to buy the kit - you’ll have lots of unused items.

Heck - if you have friends with similar trucks, the kit comes with 8 colored wires I think you are looking for and might be able to take one. They are about 12” length and make connecting easy.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know of anyone with an HD. And yes, those are the ones I need. I was thinking of adapting regular spades and using silicon to seal them....I only need 2.

Screenshot_20210110-094259.png Screenshot_20210110-094328.png I found the following on eBay and ordered them. I'm hoping they work when they arrive...Fairly cheap, but come from Great Britain...

The above items will NOT work...They are smaller (pins and rubber boots) than what's required to work...Back to the drawing board...

New info found - "The caps on the aux connectors are used in conjunction with the eight 12 AWG wires from the up fitter wiring kit to create the harness plug. Remove the green plug from the cap and insert 1.4 inch spade terminal on the wire into the cavity on the cap. It will “click”into place."

Searching off/on yesterday, still unable to find/source the '1.4 inch spade terminal' - the search continues...

20210209_165639.jpg FINALLY...Found some male spade terminals that worked - except they came in a pack of 100...They are non-insulated and gold plated...I was going to pierce the existing rubber boots and push the wire thru - maybe try to dab silicone inside and outside to maintain waterproof connectivity, along with heat shrink at the connection/crimping point, which I will do tomorrow.
A quick test of switches/wires 1-4, indicate there is voltage present with the switches 'ON' using some add-on reverse lights as 'proof of concept'...

Here's the 'DEAL OF THE DAY' - if anyone is interested in a 5 set package, send me a PM w/your physical street address, and I'll just send you a set...I don't need 95 of these connectors...Your address will be deleted from my PM after they are sent out...
