Not a lift of any kind; the suspension is stock. The bent rim is my favorite answer so far but that's not it either.

bad steering damper
Was the wobble present during lane changes or just hard turning? Could you feel what side it felt like it was coming from?
does the owner use the steering wheel the pull himself into the truck?
Does the owner have it in 4wheel drive
possible a brake problem siezed/frozen caliper or maybe a warped rotor.
what about bent track bar or tie rod.
