Spend a few minutes and check the fluid. A lot of people do a lot of things. Anytime the pumpkin is submerged you check.

Although I'm all for taking things on the safety side by that theory everytime you launched a boat you'd have to check your diff. Alot of work for no reason, drains are way high in the frame and the pumpkin is sealed. Just my two cents.
