Power Running Boards not deploying

I have the power running boards on my truck, and every once in a while the passenger side board will not automatically deploy. I have to wait until the Uconnect system powers up, then use the button to manually deploy. Once the passenger gets in and closes the door, it does automatically fold up.

Its more of a nuisance than a problem, and I hate to carry it to the dealer for something so minor, but it could turn into a more frequent problem, or spread to the driver's side.

I have the power running boards as well. But they work as expected. I think this is a dealer/warranty question.

I just purchased a2021 Ram 1500 Longhorn Limited Edition. It's a beautiful truck. I've had it exactly 7 days and approx 150 mi. Today, while I was running errands with my wife, my power running boards (both sides) would not store. I accessed the Uconnect settings where "auto" was checked. I pressed "store" and noting happened... button was not active. Got home, put the truck in park and the running boards stored. Went into Uconnect and "auto" still checked. Both buttons not active. Up until today, they were working fine. This is a little unsettling seeing as its a $66,000 truck and I've only had it one week! I owned two Silverados prior to this purchase and, except for some software programming issues, never and any problems. Owned those trucks for 10 yrs and 7 yrs respectively. I hope I didn't make a mistake purchasing this Ram. Have an appointment w/ the dealership New Years's Eve Day. I'm hoping it's simply a programming issue.
