Power Wagon Front Bumper/Winch

Is there any one out there that knows of a complete kit to put the Power Wagon front bumper/winch on my new 2018 Ram 2500 Diesel Tradesman?

If I recall the diesel causes a fitment problem with the winch. I'm sure someone smarter than me will chime in

Can’t be done on a diesel. Intercooler is in the way. You’ll have to go aftermarket.

Maybe look into AEV bumpers? They are pretty awesome and about as stockish looking as you can get for an aftermarket bumper. They are pretty freaking sweet.

This is the way to go in my opinion.

You already have the same bumper as a power wagon. But your intercooler wont allow the pw winch cradle and winch to be installed.

if you are looking for a factory looking winch bumper, look no further than AEV.

Yes and no. Any Tradesman will have the same bumper as a Tradesman with Powerwagon Package and would allow the winch to fit.

I have heard that the 2019 setup isn't available yet.

I also believe the 2018 setup that is available doesn't work.

But, the 2019 Powerwagon bumper is different than all the other bumpers, and to use it would also involve the grille and anything else below the lights.

As long as it's the same bumper as the Tradesman with PW package it should be what I need if I go the route I'm thinking of. Even if the rest of the setup isn't available from FCA yet I have to think that it will be. Thanks

The tradesman with Powerwagon package actually gets the fog lights...but it is the same bumper as a regular tradesman without fog lights

I was referring to the ‘18 and back. They pretty much only made one bumper for a 2500, regardless if it has the pw package.... aside from not having fog light cutouts on some.

point is, the bumper has nothing to do with the winch. If you have a hemi, you can put it in there.

I come from the Jeep world, and it's usually best or even required to change the bumper if you're adding a winch.

Yes from 2010 to 2018 any gas truck will allow the Powerwagon winch and mount to work.

2017 and 2018, the Powerwagon got it's own unique bumper, but the mount is the same.

2019 is the same. Just I believe the mount changed along with the winch...but definitely the winch line lol

Cost and worse approach angle are the two negatives. They killed it in aesthetics though.

Well, that is good news and something I didn't realize. I wanted to put the Powerwagon grille on my truck, but I thought they changed the middle upper and lower section of the bumper.
