My buddy wanted to know if he could toss my old PW front springs in his non PW in order to achieve some lift. Anyone have this answer? Thanks!

I don't know why you couldn't. Actually surprised you don't see much talk about this on any Ram forums as it seems like a good way to get some lift and softer springs on a non-PW

Not sure how the stock shocks would work with the extra 2 inches of lift that you get with the PW springs. Probably would need to look into getting PW shocks

Yes the springs will swap right in. Like stated above, the stock shocks will be short for them though.

I would not doubt if you installed them in a diesel you would actually be lower due to the extra weight...

This would be my only concern - if he's got a diesel it may not help him, because the springs are actually softer so they compress easier. If he's got a 5.7 or a 6.4 though, it should achieve what he wants.
